Chief Executive
Isobel Riley
A committed housing professional with more than 20 years experience of local authority housing, Isobel is the former Chief Executive of Rotherham 2010 (the arms length management organisation responsible for the council's properties) which she led through a Decent Homes investment programme.
Isobel started her career in housing with Sheffield City Council and became Director of Operations at Sheffield Homes where she managed over 1,000 people.
I look forward to working to provide the very best homes and services to the residents of the borough. South Tyneside Homes has set out on a path to become an excellent housing company and to deliver much needed investment to the council homes and estates in the borough and I am very pleased and excited to have been given the opportunity to play a part in this.
Director of Housing and Service Improvement
John Musson
Original acting in an Interim capacity, John has recently taken on the position of Director of Housing.
He has 26 years of housing experience, especially in dealing with tenant participation and Anti Social Behaviour. He has worked, among other places in North Tyneside, Stoke On Trent and Manchester.
Director of Investment
Mark Whittle
Mark has joined us from “2010 Rotherham”. He has over 25 years experience in social housing, the last ten being in senior management roles.
He has a wealth of experience in delivering high levels of customer satisfaction in construction services and investment, including the management of a £313 million programme.
He has also implemented a five year investment programme, developed an asset team and successfully integrated construction service front line managers into a call centre.
Director of Finance and Support Services
Brian Scott
Brian joined us in September as the new Director of Finance. He joins us from South Tyneside Council where he worked from 1974. His previous role there was as Director of Finance.
