Executive Team
Isobel Riley, Chief Executive
A committed housing professional with more than 20 years experience of local authority housing, Isobel is the former Chief Executive of Rotherham 2010 (the arms length management organisation responsible for the Council’s properties) which she led through a Decent Homes investment programme.
Isobel started her career in housing with Sheffield City Council and became Director of Operations at Sheffield Homes where she managed over 1,000 people.

South Tyneside Homes has set out on a path to become an excellent housing company and to deliver much needed investment to the council homes and estates in the borough and I am very pleased and exited to have been given the opportunity to play a part in this.”
Simon Bartlett, Director of Resources & Development
Responsible for the financial governance of the organisation and with overall responsibility for the procurement of contracts, Simon brought to South Tyneside Homes a wealth of managerial experience from varying organisations, including Newcastle City Council.
He is also responsible for corporate support that enables South Tyneside Homes to deliver excellent services and oversees the increase of the knowledge base about the stock needs of the borough.
John Musson, Interim Director of Housing
John came to us from North Tyneside where he has been working recently. He has 26 years of housing experience, especially in dealing with tenant participation and Anti Social Behaviour. He has worked, among other places in Stoke On Trent and Manchester.
