Peter Davidson (Chair)
Peter has a background of corporate insurance and risk management, together with a wealth of experience in community work and as the Non-Executive Chair of the South Tyneside NHS Foundation Trust. He also has extensive advisory experience with the Northern Housing Consortium.
Mick Nielsen
Mick is employed by the Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue Service as the District Officer for South Tyneside.
A very experienced fire officer operating at manager level who has had a specific role in fire safety dealing with local authority building, planning and licensing authorities.
Mick champions partnership working and is an active member of the borough's Local Strategic Partnership, The Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership and The Commission for Racial Equality South Tyneside Group.
Susan O'Donnell
Susan is an experienced risk manager with considerable consultancy background in public and private sector.
Her recent local government roles in the North East and Yorkshire involved leading initiatives in risk, governance, partnership working, audit committees and information governance.
Originally from Glasgow, Susan moved to Newcastle in 1992 and has had an ongoing involvement in several community and voluntary organisations. She is particularly interested in multi-agency approaches to community development and the development of social enterprises.
Julian Corbidge
For the last three and a half years, Julian has been employed as Head of Business Development at eaga Energy Solutions.
Largely responsible for the implementation of Energy Performance Certificates to local authorities and housing associations throughout the country, Julian has acquired a valuable understanding of the state of the UK's social housing stock from an energy efficient perspective.
