South Tyneside Homes has modernised and improved the way it lets homes to customers to make finding a new home as simple, fair and open as possible.
To do this, we have introduced a new lettings service called Your Choice.
What is Your Choice?
Your Choice is a modern way to let our homes. It offers greater choice to people who want to rent housing. Your Choice will provide you with:
- A letting system that is clearer and easier to understand
- More information about the homes available
- The option to express an interest in available homes
- More choice and involvement when choosing a home and area to live in
- The opportunity to find a home across the whole of South Tyneside
Other housing options: Swapping homes with another tenant (mutual exchange), moving outside the Borough (HOMESWAP Scheme), private landlords.
