  • Sarah works for an environmental and regeneration charity and has a Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership.
  • Sarah has experience in strategic planning, investment, asset, risk and operational management and marketing and communications

Gwen Smith

Gwen Smith

  • Gwen qualified as an Environmental Health Officer in 2006, and has a LLM in Environmental Law from DeMontford University.
  • Gwen currently works as Team Manager within the Public Protection and Neighbourhoods Team Service at a local Council. She has a wide range of knowledge and experience within the private housing sector.

  • Lisa supports a first class honours degree in Business Management with experience in change management, leadership, risk and strategic planning.
  • Lisa has over 18 years of experience in Social Housing managing Customer Services, Community Alarms, Resident Engagement and Marketing and Communications.

  • Michael is an involved tenant whose current role is that of Tenant Inspector - this has involved the interviewing of South Tyneside Homes' staff as part of the tenant inspection process.
  • Michael was one of the tenants involved in the compilation of the 2013/14 & 2014/15 Tenants' Annual reports

Joyce Smith

Joyce Smith

  • Joyce is retired and lives in one of the Council's Supported Housing schemes. She is also an involved tenant and is very much into self-development.
  • She previously worked as a specialist investigator for a large utility company.
