Coronavirus (COVID-19) update
Gas services are currently being carried out to all properties where the gas service is due. You will be contacted directly by the Gas Servicing team to arrange an appointment.
If your gas service is due and you are currently on the NHS shielding list or self-isolating, please contact the Gas Servicing team on 0191 427 2084 or our Contact Centre on 0300 123 6633 to make an appointment or to discuss the current situation.

We will visit your home to service your gas or solid fuel heating appliances every 12 months.
This must be done by law to ensure the appliance is working safely and efficiently.
The annual service is free of charge.
Making an appointment
Our engineer will call and arrange an appointment with you when your service is due.
If you are not in, they will post a card with the date of the appointment.
If the appointment is not convenient you can re-arrange it to suit your needs. To re-arrange an appointment, call us on 0191 427 2084 .
The service can also be carried out on evenings and Saturday mornings.
On the day of your appointment
You must allow us or our contractor entry to your home to carry out the gas service, this is part of your Tenancy Agreement. If you do not allow access we will take legal action to gain entry. You may be charged for these costs.
Any person calling to your home on our behalf will carry identification. You should ask to see it before letting them in. If in doubt, contact 0300 123 6633 for confirmation.
In an emergency
In cases of emergency, we may force entry into your home, but only to prevent damage to your property or risk of injury to any person.
Gas Safe Register
All companies that provide gas servicing have to be suitably gas registered.
We are registered with the Gas Safe Register.
