A South Tyneside man who played loud music right through the night has been evicted from his home.
Andrew Leach, 28, was found to be in breach of his tenancy agreement after numerous complaints were made by neighbours about his behaviour.
In addition to playing loud music well into the night, complaints were also made about shouting, singing loudly and slamming doors in the property at Handel Street, South Shields. It was also alleged that he threatened people who lived close by.
South Tyneside Homes' Community Safety and Tenancy Enforcement Team had received numerous complaints about his behaviour since July 2017.
Despite receiving several warnings, he failed to moderate his behaviour.
A spokesman for South Tyneside Council said: "Eviction is always a last resort but it is important to send a clear message that we will not tolerate anti-social behaviour.
"We will continue to take a firm stance with those people who breach their tenancy conditions and make the lives of those around them a misery."
