Support services for our customers
We know that our customers may need extra help at certain times of their lives and as such provide a number of specialist support services tailored towards them. We want to help any customers who need support and assistance to maintain an independent lifestyle.
The following section explains how we may be able to help people with a particular need.
What support services do we offer?
The support services that we offer include:
Supporting people in their tenancies
The Health and Housing team can carry out an assessment to find out how your home is affecting your medical condition.
Health and Housing assessment
The Health and Housing team can carry out an assessment to find out how your home is affecting your medical condition.
They can help you find ways of reducing these problems. This may include adaptation and support services to help you stay in your home. It an also include making a recommendation on the type of housing that will be suitable for your needs.
We also work closely with other services who can offer support and, if necessary, we will refer you to them. These include Social Care and Health, Age Concern, the Citizens Advice Bureau, charitable organisations and Housing Associations.
The two main types of Support Services include:
- Accommodation Based This is a service that requires the customer to live in the scheme to access the service.
- Floating Support This support is delivered to the customer in their own home. Available Floating Support services are detailed below.
