February/March Results - Repairs and Maintenance
In February and March, we asked for your views on the repairs and maintenance service.
Thank you to those who completed the survey. We have collated all of your feedback and have developed some improvement actions to develop our services. Details of the results and what we will be doing to improve services will be available soon.
How does YourView work?
You will be able to complete at least one survey per month via Survey Monkey. Every survey is worth £1 which will issued in the form of a digital Amazon.co.uk Gift Card* which can be spent online. The more surveys and activities you complete, the more rewards you will earn...simple!
You will receive your reward by email within 2 weeks of completing the survey or activity providing you have fully completed the activity.
How do I take part?
Activities will be advertised on the website and social media. Each activity can only be completed once and points will only be awarded if you complete the full activity. You must be an existing tenant or leaseholder of a South Tyneside Homes property to take part in YourView activities. You must agree to the terms of the Privacy Notice at the start of each survey and you will need to provide your name and first line of address for verification purposes. You will also need to provide your email in order for your Amazon.co.uk Gift Card* to be issued.
You must fully complete the survey or activity to receive a reward. Respondents who are not registered as the tenant or leaseholder of a property will not be eligible for the rewards scheme and views will be discounted. Only one survey per tenancy will be allowed - any duplicate surveys will not be counted and will not be eligible for a reward.
When surveys become available they will be published on the website and via social media. Activities will typically run for 1-2 weeks or when the level of responses received reaches the maximum level for the activity.

Please note that YourView is not an avenue for complaints. These should be reported using the Complaints and Feedback page where they will be managed in accordance with our service standards and complaints policy.
YourView is a survey process aimed at helping South Tyneside Homes to improve services. It is aimed at tenants and leaseholders of South Tyneside Council. Survey rewards are provided for tenants and leaseholders who give us feedback, as this forms part of our customer involvement and improvement framework as a housing management company.
For the purposes of gathering personal details and survey information, we are using the Survey Monkey website. Our rewards process is through Amazon.co.uk Gift Cards which are limited to one per household per survey. The rewards process is only available to legal tenants and leaseholders of properties managed by South Tyneside Homes.
The lawful basis for collecting and using your data is your consent. South Tyneside Homes is the data processor for the information on behalf of South Tyneside Council, the data controller. You may withdraw or change your consent at any time by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org
